another suggestion: you could try openssl 0.9.9 (devel) with the
montgomery multiplier acceleration to speed up some of the rsa/dsa
ops:

openssl engine padlock
(padlock) VIA PadLock: RNG (not used) ACE2 PHE(8192) PMM

PHE is the sha1 padlock hash engine
PMM is the MONTMULT accel
