I've started going through this thread, but it's a horrendous lot to digest and full of LINUXisms that I know nothing about. I have some errands to run, and then I really *must* get some sleep. Maybe late tonight I'll continue reading. In the meantime, perhaps some adventurous relay operator using LINUX could begin experimenting with the libhugetlbfs-in-LD_PRELOAD method to see whether tor functions okay with it and then report the results back to the list.
