Contract to hire is not a required, but a preference.* * * *ETL Developer* * * *Location: *Pleasanton, CA*. * *Duration: *12 months * * *Skills/Experience:* * * · 7 - 10 years experience in Information Technology. Must have at least 7-8 years of practical Ab Initio development experience. · 4-6+ years dedicated ETL development using Ab Initio ETL solutions · Good knowledge of Oracle, Teradata RDBMS, M/F, DB2 and SQL syntax. · Experience designing, documenting ETL and tuning. · Solid communication, documentation, and project/task management skills. · Able to trouble shoot and create customized jobs. · Experience with data cleansing and data quality processes. · Demonstrate a deep understanding of database design principals. · Health Care industry experience (desired). · BS/BA Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or related field. · Ability to analyze and design methodologies for full system development life cycles. · Ability to analyze and design data conversions and integration tools, processes, and practices. · Strong ability to multi task, excellent interpersonal skills. * * *Responsibilities:* Responsible for support of all development and production data integration points for EDW. Develop ETLs using various Ab Initio ETL toolset. Perform Quality Assurance, unit and system testing as well as complete documentation of deliverables. Insure data quality through creation of proactive monitoring and data cleansing techniques. Implement business rules via stored procedures, middleware, or other technologies. Execute support and maintenance of the data warehouse/data marts and associated systems. Synergizing of Business Requirements with source system analysis to arrive at optimal design. Ensure completeness and timelines of deliverables. Participate in business requirements and functional specification reviews.
