Someone who can provide solutions to the client on Oracle Database architecture - Location - NYC Duration - 1 yr Rate - DOE *F2F interview a MUST after telephonic* *Preference will be given to Certified Consultants* *A must -* - Architect level Database Admin who should have *extensively worked as a System Admin in Unix*. - Should have extensive experience as an Oracle Dba and - Should have hands on experience on SQL Server or UDB or Sybase. *Job Descriptions* Were looking for an independent yet team-oriented, customer-oriented, enthusiastic Senior Database Administrator (6 years + experience) to join DBA team. DBA work experience and knowledge of Oracle and one other open systems platforms such as Microsoft SQL, Sybase, or UDB is a major asset. Knowledge of ETL tools such as AbInitio and DataStage is also a plus. The applicant should be able to perform database administration duties including software installation, patching, backup and recovery, performance tuning, monitoring and DR participation. In addition, the applicant may be asked to perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
