Job Title: *Performance Engineer* Location: Chicago, IL Duration: 12 months C2C - NO FLEX Job Description Performance Engineer will be responsible for some of the following functions · Develops performance test strategies · Provides input and insight to the software design and architecture process · Model technical requirements to evaluate performance impacts · Develops performance requirements · Develops performance test plans · Execute both batch and online jobs performance testing · Validates performance test environments · Works with cross functional project teams to define performance metrics and acceptance criteria · Analyzes performance test results to evaluate impacts on production infrastructure and make comparisons with previous release benchmarks · Provide performance tuning recommendations especially around operating systems and databases · Conducts before and after studies for every release deployment · Provides performance sign-off and review results with the management and other technical groups Skills and Qualifications · A bachelor's degree in Computer Science is preferred · 3-5 years of experience with performance testing using Mercury/HP Loadrunner · In-depth understanding of all the performance metrics available on UNIX and Windows operating systems · Understanding of configuration parameters and usage on Oracle, WebLogic, and Web Server software. · Experience with standard profiling/monitoring tools is a must – HP diagnostics, Wily Introscope, Jprobe, etc. · Performance tuning of Oracle databases · Working experience on complex client/server environments · UNIX/Shell scripting is a plus · Financial industry experience is a plus · Expert written and communication skills · Experience with web technologies is a must · Capacity planning experience is a plus *With Regards,*** Naresh V Technical Recruiter ReCache, Inc *ROCHESTER HILLS**, MI 48307** * *Ph: **248-436-1972* Fax: 248-565-2054 [EMAIL PROTECTED] *www.recache.com* --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "oraapps" group.
