Major Activities and/or Essential Functions: -Analysis and maintenance of
PeopleSoft reference tables.-HR data quality and data analysis-Functional
analysis for HR related systems and PeopleSoft design and testing for new
projects and requested changes-Support/analysis for mergers and acquisitions
and Legal Entity Consolidations-Analysis/design for the mass upload
technology used by PeopleSoft and support of production mass loads using
Component interface and messaging technology and app engines and testing to
support changes.-Support for processing performance/pay increase mass
uploads.-Support for service calls including reference table updates, data
issues, and mass updates.- Develop SQL queries used to investigate service
calls, data questions, and reference table queries.-Production support for
some HR feeds.-Testing and intersystem testing support.The required resource
is needed to analyze the NA HR requirements, design and implement IT
solution for the NA HR PeopleSoft application and is necessary to retain
because of the specific and key business knowledge in relation to
Alcatel-Lucent HR business processes in relation to PeopleSoft and other HR
systems.NA HR application are critical and without the resources, HR
application support, HR referential maintenance and integration activities (
Merger and Acquisition) will be jeopardizedMust have in depth knowledge of
PeopleSoft and PeopleSoft data structures, Messaging & component interfaces
as well as Alcatel-Lucent interfaces with SAP and other IT systems in order
to deal with Alcatel-Lucent's payroll and financial systems (which are SAP
based). Also, Oracle database and programming skills are essential in order
to check and evaluate the developed code. Knowledge of Alcatel-Lucent's
specific HR practices (union contract obligations and current vendor
knowledge) is essential for this position.
