Understanding of industry specifications, embedded systems development, Intel and AMD architectures, and the software development lifecycle. Solid understanding of one or more of the following industry specifications: I2C, IPMI, KCS, USB, SNMP, SM-CLP, WS-MAN, TCPIP. Solid understanding and demonstrated experience of the software development and test process. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Solid C development skills including the use of debug tools. Experience with embedded operating systems (RTOS, embedded Linux). Experience with PowerPC or other embedded processors desired.
