Ø This Database Administrator will also assist with the coding and deployment of any SQL scripts and DTS Packages that may be needed to edit and load SASI data into the data collection databases. Ø Manages and maintains all production and non-production databases. Ø Responsible for standards and design of physical data storage, maintenance, access and security administration. Ø Performs backup and recovery on Database Management Systems, Ø Configures database parameters, and prototype designs against logical data models, Ø Defines data repository requirements, data dictionaries and warehousing requirements. Ø This position optimizes database access and allocates/re-allocates database resources for optimum configuration, database performance and cost. Ø Manage the data collection databases including the creation of new tables and databases as necessary. Ø Use Microsoft SQL to write scripts and packages to load and edit collected data into the data collection databases. Ø Coordinate with other DBAs on staff to insure that proper backup procedures for data collection database are followed. Ø Develop procedures for importing data and backing up data for all PowerSchool test databases to be used by the Client.
