Job Title : Clinical Documentation *Location : Sacramento,CA Duration : 12 months* *****For Immediate feedback please forward your resume to sh...@vforceinc.com ********* Requirements: Epic Clinical Documentation certification (version 2008 required, 2009 preferred); ASAP certification preferred, Medication Orders – Medication Administration Record training preferred; Procedure Orders and Orders Transmittal Masters certification preferred Demonstrated hands-on system build experience, process design and testing for clinical documentation tools used by clinicians, nurses and ancillary services in a hospital setting with acute care, ICU, pediatric, OB, neonatal, emergency, surgical and specialty servicesSystem configuration and build experience with navigators, best practice alerts, tasks, doc flowsheets, notes activity configuration, intake and output, the MAR, user security, patient education, and care plans Knowledge of inpatient nursing and specialty department clinical documentation workflows, care planning, and patient education using Epic’s Inpatient Clinical application Experience developing a test plan and executing test scenarios for Clinical Documentation, Documentation Flowsheets, Care Plans and Patient Education Knowledge and build experience with CPM (Clinical Practice Model) Care Plan content Experience documenting and developing training scripts for nursing staff Working knowledge of Epic utilities and reports related to Clinical Documentation Experience using Constellation and reviewing and testing Epic Release Notes for a System Upgrade Responsibilities: Provide expertise and consultation to the Clinical Documentation Team for Care Plan and Patient Education Implementation Participate in meetings with stakeholders from nursing, ED, OB, dietary, RT, hospital service departments, information systems, clinic operations and reporting.
