Position : Remedy ITSM Development Analyst Location : CO Duration : 12+ Month to Possible Multi Year Contract U.S. Citizens (Only) Position Title: Remedy ITSM Development Analyst with Remedy ITSM version 7 Experience. Job Description: Experience with product Remedy ITSM version 7. Technical competency in help desk management, Researches, designs, develops, and/or modifies enterprise-wide systems and/or applications software. Involved in planning of system and development deployment as well as responsible for meeting software compliance standards. Evaluates interface between hardware and software, operational requirements, and characteristics of overall system. Documents testing and maintenance of system corrections. Required Skills: Significant Remedy ITSM 7 development experience. Strong written and verbal communication skills Specific Skills: Experience in Remedy ITSM, version 7, specifically database configuration, application design, system to system integration, and data analysis. Experience in Actuate 8, reports design and development. Experience in Oracle database scripts and data mining tools. Specific Job Description: This role is for BMC Remedy ITSM 7 development. Tasks include: Adding additional Forms as required; Tailoring Remedy ITSM 7 to support an unclassified environment; The integration of DISA-CS standard CSM functionalities; Building interfaces to the DISA-CS standard Trouble Management System (TMS); and testing all design features prior to implementation. Implement automated links between Remedy ITSM 7 and Automated Monitoring Systems such as, but not limited to BMC Patrol, Tivoli, HP Openview, and Manugistics. The purpose of this interface is to automate ticket creation in Remedy ITSM 7 via alarm data captured by Automated Monitoring Systems. Update documents related to the Remedy ITSM 7 application such as the Concept of Operations; DISA site Standard Operating Procedures; localized Remedy ITSM 7 User and Administration Guides; interface documents to other related systems; and other documents related to Trouble Management as required. Provide documentation of all changes and source code sufficient in detail to reconstruct all modifications made to the core product. Minimum: Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 9 years of professional experience; or 7 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree. Considered an emerging authority. Desired Skills: Experience providing Remedy ITSM training to end users. ITIL certification. This requirement will support DISA-CSD Asset Management team. Deliverables: Remedy ITSM 7 application uptime 24x7.
