Job Description:
*Position : UI Engineer requirements*
*Location : Sunnyvale, CA*
*Duration : 6+ Months*


   - Should be able to define and describe *Semantic HTML*. They should
   know not to use tables for layout, but it’s more important they know why
   this is frowned upon, and why certain markup patterns (ex. unordered lists
   for navigation) are common.
   - Should know what a JavaScript *closure* is, and give an example of how
   it’s used.
   - Should know the difference between == / != and === / !== (*type
   coercion*).
   - Should be able to describe the *MVC* pattern.
   - Should know the difference between *function scope and block scope.*
   - Should be able to explain the concept of *accessibility* as it
   pertains to UI. Bonus points if they have experience with specific concepts
   (VoiceOver/screen readers, WAI-ARIA, keyboard-only navigation).
   - Experience with jQuery is ideal, but they should also be fluent and
   well experienced with writing *native JavaScript*.
   - Should understand the difference between *class and ID* in HTML/CSS,
   and why it’s preferable to use classes.
   - Should understand *CSS specificity* rules, and how to avoid selector
   conflicts
   - Should be able to describe some *JavaScript optimization* techniques
   - Bonus: Familiarity with the concept of *OOCSS*
   - Bonus: Knowledge of, or experience with *CanJS*, or a similar library
   - Bonus: Experience with writing JavaScript *unit tests*
   - Bonus: Experience with *CSS preprocessors*
