- Required skills
- Expertise in healthcare data domains (clinical, claims, billing,
etc.)
- Expertise working with data in healthcare IT systems (Epic, Cerner,
Allscripts, McKesson etc.)
- Experience with SQL or other database query technologies in mining
data for analysis and sleuth and understand data issues (data quality,
confirm customer use of data)
- Experience in understanding business requirements and translating
that into data analysis
- Experience in data mapping (source system to target system mapping)
- Experience analyzing data for format, content, relationships, etc.
in its raw form before being loaded into database tables
- Strong logical, analytical thinking, problem solving skills
- Strong collaboration and communication skills – role will have
interaction with external customers
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and proactively in a
fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Preferred / Nice to Have
- Exposure to data warehouse architecture and Kimball-style
dimensional modeling
- Exposure to IBM’s healthcare data model
- Experience with data profiling tools
*(8) ETL Developer**s*
- Required skills
- 7+ years’ ETL development experience
- Strong communication skills – role will have interaction with
external customers
- Experience in data mapping (source system to target mapping)
- Expert proficiency with SQL
- Strong understanding of data warehouse architecture and
Kimball-style dimensional modeling
- 3+ years’ experience working with complex data architectures
- 3+ years’ experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
methodologies
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and proactively in a
fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Preferred / Nice to Have
- Experience with Netezza
- Experience with DataStage
- Experience working in UNIX environment
- Proficiency with Kimball-style dimensional modeling
- Experience with IBM’s healthcare data model
- Experience transforming data from healthcare IT systems (Epic,
Cerner, Allscripts, etc.)
- Experience with using Agile development practices, automated
testing and continuous delivery
*(5) QA Engineer**s*
- Required skills
- 5+ years’ QA experience
- Strong logical and analytical thinking
- Strong SQL knowledge and experience
- Strong communication skills – role will have interaction with
external customers
- 3+ years of ETL testing on data warehousing projects
- Knowledge of ETL and data warehouse testing techniques
- Knowledge of data warehouse architecture and terminologies
- Experience with automation testing
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and proactively in a
fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Preferred / Nice to Have
- Experience with IBM’s healthcare data model
- Experience working in UNIX environment
- Experience working with any ETL Tools
- Experience working with various databases
- Experience working with Fitnesse automated testing suite
- Experience working on Agile development projects
