Experience working with Cloudera Manager Ability to forecast capacity on the Hadoop Nodes & optimizing and tune the Hadoop environments to meet performance requirements. Design, configure and manage the backup and disaster recovery for Hadoop data; and Patching and upgrading Cloudera clusters Install and configure monitoring tools like Ganglia, Nagios; be the SME on Hadoop, HDFS, Hive other Hadoop ecosystem components and related tools. Perform administrative functions like map-reduce job monitoring, troubleshooting etc. Create and publish various production metrics including system performance and reliability( and high-availability) information to systems owners and management as & when required.
