Analyzes business processes: meets with Human Resources, IS, Payroll, other users and management to understand functional business requirements and procedures. Applies expert knowledge of potential capabilities of Oracle/PeopleSoft HCM, develops, documents, and presents multiple solutions and approaches to problems, translates the best choice into technical specifications, tests developed solution, introduces final product into Production. Documents all processes, workflows, and related system activities. Maintains knowledge of system settings and their impact to all users of the system and identifies inter-dependencies with other tasks/applications. Troubleshoots, documents, maintains, and owns the functional configuration of a variety of HCM modules with help from functional owners (HR, Benefits, Compensation, Payroll, Recruiting, etc.). Write and runs complex queries using PSQuery. Produces reports, graphs, charts and/or data analysis in a timely manner utilizing a variety of reporting tools to include but not limited to Excel, XML Publisher and Crystal. Develops custom report specifications and documentations.Coordinate and participate in research or investigations of complex HCM application issues or problems. Make or recommend necessary changes or corrections to resolve problems. Develop preventative process solutions to address these issues.Assist in the design and administer the configuration of required HCM modules within the parameters established by the Oracle/PeopleSoft HR application. Ensures software quality assurance standards are achieved, and validates that business goals are accomplished.
