Location: *Herndon- Virginia* Duration: *6 months * Note 1 : Requires to understand both Front End and Backend Development Note 2: Will oversee/mentor all the developers and manage client expectations Note 3: Must be a hands-on developer (not looking for an architect) · Understand requirements and architecture and produce design artifacts. · Be a self-starter and develop elegant code and comprehensive unit tests. · Develop software using Java, Spring, Hibernate, JMS and Web Services. · Be a team player and take responsibility for joint team deliverables. *REQUIRED SKILLS* · Must have 8+ years of hands-on experience in Java/J2EE technologies. · Excellent analytical and problem solving skills · Excellent written and verbal communication skills (strong negotiator) · Knowledge of design patterns, SOLID principles, particularly Dependency Injection · Spring Frameworks · Database development skills including SQL programming, understanding of XMLBD, logical and physical data modeling. · Experience with Oracle or similar database technologies · Experience with the following web technologies: Tomcat, JSON and Linux. · Experience working in an Agile based development environment, using Agile concepts & practices of scrum · Experience using standard development tools such as Eclipse and Maven. · Experience developing REST and/or SOAP based web services with application reuse as an achieved objective. · Strong understanding of XML, manipulate using document based and stream based API’s. · Strong verbal and written communication skills with other developers and business client · Strong knowledge of JMS · Advanced skills using J2EE Frameworks. o Spring MVC o Spring Integration o Spring Web Services o Spring Data, JPA o JAXB o Hibernate *ADDITIONAL SKILLS* o Frontend/Web development experience, with HTML 5, CSS o Experience with JavaScript, Ajax, jQuery, Backbone o Experience with EasyMock *NICE TO HAVES* o Experience in financial services sector o Big 4 or Management Consulting experience preferred o Flexible to travel if required o Master’s degree in Computer Science/Programming or related field preferred. *BEST REGARDS* *NOOR * SR.
