Summary
The SharePoint resource manages all aspects of Corporate Records in a
SharePoint environment, including design, architecture, availability,
reliability, performance, monitoring and security. This position plays an
integral part in the development of strategies for optimal use of
SharePoint and other collaborative tools within the organization. This
includes other business applications that require integration maintenance.
The administrator must be able to work with very little supervision in a
highly charged and fast paced environment.  Specifically the SharePoint
site is being used to track H1B documents from storage, to shipment,
scanning, archiving, etc.

Responsibilities
Work with Project Managers and Business Analysts to help design and develop
solutions to address business needs and opportunities, and propose changes
that would make the SharePoint environment a more effective solution.
Examine requirements documents and create technical design documents, unit
test, system test and implementation plans for small to complex projects.
Maintain and administer SharePoint Server, including daily monitoring,
troubleshooting and performance analysis; as well as perform as the
SharePoint Subject Matter Expert (SME).
Provide technical guidance to the team in the technologies related to the
development and support of an Enterprise SharePoint environment
(understanding relationship with active directory, SQL, IIS, etc.).
Manage permissions and restrict and revoke access where necessary.
Create, leverage and manage content types, site columns and templates for
re-use in the sites.
Develop, configure and maintain document libraries, enterprise lists and
site collections. Perform typical system administrative activities such as
site creation, user training, backup, restore and issue resolution.
Setup and manage alerts to monitor activity on business critical
information as required.
Focus on the creation and development of custom SharePoint sites
Create and maintain customer SharePoint 2013 search pages
Compile monthly reports on usage and progress of site collection.
Review and analyze site collection usage reports.
Provide guidance to business units on structure of their sites.
Review content on a regular basis to ensure business relevance.
Monitoring system and application health including analyzing system/core
dumps and logs.
Liaise with IT regarding the migration of sites and content when necessary.
Provide first line support for users and other Site Owners.
Demo technology to business units.
Perform error identification, investigation and resolution – escalate to IT
required.
Edit and customize pages using SharePoint Designer.

Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
2-5 years SharePoint 2010/2013 Experience
JavaScript-Customize list forms
JQuery/CSS
Bachelor's Degree in mathematics, computer science, business or equivalent
work experience
Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle methods, Agile preferred
over waterfall. Able to wear multiple hats and projects.  Must be
self-sufficient.
SharePoint development and administration experience to include creation
and implementation of custom web parts, .NET user controls Bonus+, custom
master pages, custom layouts/event handlers, feature, custom workflows,
solutions and templates.
Microsoft SQL Server Bonus Skill, will dabble in if needed.  Have a team to
assist as needed.
InfoPath & Workflow (just design) Required, Visual Studio Bonus, and
SharePoint Designer Required
SharePoint 2010 Records Center is preferred but not mandatory
SharePoint 2013 experience is preferred but not mandatory
Windows Azure experience preferred but not mandatory
