I actually need is Java, CQ5, and application integration experience with SQL Server and/or Oracle Technology Development, Delivery and Support * May assist project leadership in designing the approach for a project, estimating/planning, and setting technical direction. * Writes specifications that will meet the business needs, legal requirements, and comply with applicable standards. * Looks for ways to improve the development process. * Acts as consultant to development groups to enhance existing business applications and to facilitate the definition of solutions to meet business requirements. * Provides input into implementation plans for projects. * Ensures that all related applications are consistent with overall organization business strategies. * Ensures that deliverables meet McDonald's I/S quality standards. * Participates in developing standards for their area of expertise. * Determines design strategy and provides systems design in a specialized and highly complex area. * Collaborates with project leadership to design and monitor necessary testing and implementation plans. * Participates in long-range planning for new or existing systems. * Maintains up-to-date awareness of the current and future directions of the industry and associated technologies/legal requirements, and, where appropriate, makes recommendations for implementation of new/upgraded systems and technologies. * Strives to maintain an understanding of other technology and/or business initiatives outside of current projects to ensure alignment and integration where possible. * Creates and/or reviews manuals, how-to procedures, and related user documentation in a variety of formats. Ensures documentation is targeted to the appropriate audience. * Codes, tests, troubleshoots, and documents programs according to systems standards. * Interfaces with vendors to troubleshoot, apply patches, and ensure the effectiveness of vendor-supplied packages. * May provide on-call emergency support services for critical applications. * Responds to questions from clients and analyzes what-if scenarios. Technical Skills/Experience. • 6+ year as a Sr. Programmer/Analyst working with both IT and business teams • 6+ years of leading software lifecycle development • Proficiency with SQL, PL/SQL,VB/VBA, SQL Developer, TOAD, adhoc reporting, table and database analysis, MS SQL Server, Oracle DB, ASP/.NET, JAVA/Java Script , Unix, SharePoint, MS Excel, MS Visio, MS Word, MS Project • 4+ years of vendor management • B.S. in Information Systems or related field required • Experience working as a Support Analyst • Basic understanding of network and firewall configurations Additional Competencies • Ability to grasp technical concepts quickly. • Must be detailed oriented • Ability to understand & analyze complex data concepts • Ability to build strong partnerships with business clients, technology teams and vendors. • Ability to elicit user stories and facilitate efficient technology solution proposals. • Strong problem-solving skills. • Self-starter, confident, go-getter attitude • Experience with enterprise 3rd party Application (e.g. Digital Assets Management, Workflow • Collaborates with I/S infrastructure specialists to leverage infrastructure capabilities and expertise in optimizing designs and applications • Builds strong relationships between teams within I/S and between I/S and related business teams • May Participate in vendor conferences and/or vendor referrals Regards: Sam Williams - Recruiting Manager ITBrainiac Inc.
