Good attitude, team player…….** *Formal job description from CS:* Apply knowledge of Object Oriented Architecture and Design to create enterprise software solutions. Participate in design sessions where features, enhancements or bugs are discussed in professional and respectful manner. Develop high quality programs in C#/.NET with limited supervision. Experience with Oracle database development (SQL, SQL*Plus, SQL*Loader, etc.) Understand C/C++, Java and Perl code. Collaborate with the team of finding every possible way to enhance existing enterprise systems. Write unit and functional tests. Perform performance tuning and debugging. Create necessary deployment scripts. Deliver working solutions in timely manner. Produce required documentation. Monitor deployed applications. Train production support personal on use of developed systems and enhanced functionality. Provide support by advising in the areas of expertise. *Qualifications:* • Understanding of Object Oriented Architecture and Design. • Experience in development and support of critical enterprise systems. • Knowledge of Windows operating system with understanding of Linux. • At least 5 years of experience with C#/.NET application development. • Minimum of 5 years of GUI development in RAD environment. • Knowledge of multi-threaded programming. • Knowledge of other languages: C/C++, and Java. • Working knowledge of messaging middleware: TIBCO, 29West. • Experience with networking protocols: TCP/IP and UDP. • Understanding of relational databases and experience with Oracle & Sybase • Problem solving capability and strong analytical skills • Excellent interpersonal communication skills – will interact with traders.
