*Job Title: Sr. Release & Deployment Manager*

*Technical/Functional Skills**:*
The successful candidate will be responsible for Release &
Deployment Management of the operational risk management platform. The
Release & Deployment Manager will provide leadership in defining and
implementing Release & Deployment Processes using best practice processes
and end-to-end ownership of the product and process, and the ability to
interpret how alternative courses of action impact downstream processes and
groups.
*Experience Required**:*
· Candidate must be familiar with the major components of the CORE
Program's architecture and should have release management and deployment
experience in many, if not all, components (IBM BPM, IBM ODM, COGNOS)
· Candidate must have experience defining release and deployment
processes for a new development initiative including pre-production,
multiple iteration builds, Dev/QA/UAT code migration controls
*Roles & Responsibilities**:*
· Interact with Senior Technology Development Managers,
Program/Project Managers, Development Leads, QA Manager and the team to
develop and execute a solid Release Strategy
· Display efficient work style with attention to detail,
organization, and strong sense of urgency
· Ensure process capability, control and improvement by developing
and implementing relevant quality assurance procedures
· Assist in managing projects and interdependencies to ensure
milestone adherence to ensure the integrity of the release can be measured.
The releases can be inclusive of application updates, operating system
patches, security improvements, hardware upgrades
· Provide tools and services to help management and project teams
manage and deploy releases into production
· Develop processes and tools that encourage continuous performance
improvements
· You will be responsible for implementing and managing release
processes for the progression of code in the development, test, and
production environments
· Conduct Release Readiness reviews, Milestone Reviews, and
Business Go/No-Go reviews
· Own Product Deployment, Run Books and Implementation Plans
· Communicate release details and schedules to the Business as
required
· Lead and co-ordinate the Go-Live activities including the
execution of the deployment Plans and checklists
· Lead the development of scripts and automation tools used to
build, integrate, and deploy software releases to various platforms
