 *JOB DESCRIPTION:*


The Informatica ETL Production Support Developer must have prior hands-on
experience providing production support for enterprise-level ETL
applications and EDW solutions.  In addition, the Informatica ETL developer
must have prior experience designing and developing ETL solutions for
successful enterprise data warehousing projects.

*REQUIRED TOOLS & TECHNOLOGIES:*

·         Informatica 9.x and above (MUST)

·         Oracle 10g and above (MUST)   -

·         Unix Shell Scripting - AIX or Linux (MUST)

·         Experience in Scheduling Tools – e.g. Tivoli, Autosys, Ctrl-M

·         ITIL Experience (Preferred)

*REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:*

·         5+ years of experience as ETL Developer using Informatica and
Oracle 10g/11g to implement data warehousing projects.

·         2+ years of experience in supporting enterprise Informatica
applications and associated environments.

o    Hands-on and proven experience managing critical events and incidents

o    Experience with process improvements to achieve operational
efficiencies

o    Experience developing and trending key performance metrics aimed at
early issue detection, as well as, measuring team success and level of
service.

o    Experience identifying monitoring needs as well as implementation

o    Solid understanding of Change Management processes

o    Solid understanding of software development lifecycle including source
code management concepts

·         Excellent understanding of data warehousing concepts.

o    Strong data modeling skills (normalized and multidimensional)

·         Excellent understanding of Informatica Product Framework

·         Strong SQL skills in Oracle 10g/11g

o    Experience in Oracle database programming using Partitioning,
Materialized View and OLAP

o    Experience in tuning Oracle queries/processes and performance
management tools

·         Experience in scheduling tools like Tivoli, Autosys

·         Strong organizational and multitasking
skills

·         Strong analysis, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

·         Strong business and communication
skills

·         Ability to work with cross functional teams to achieve desired
results

·         Knowledge of Health Care Insurance Payer Data Warehousing

*RESPONSIBILITIES:*

·         The Informatica ETL Production Support Developer will be a key
member of an Enterprise Data Warehouse Production Support and Services team
and will be responsible for the following key deliverables and activities:

o    Monitoring - Monitor ETL Application Framework and respond to alerts
as dictated by associated SLAs

o    Incident and Problem Management - Provide root cause analysis and
follow through to resolution

o    Service Queue Management- Monitor and maintain ticket queues and
follow standard escalation procedures

o    Communications - Generate Business Communications regarding production
issues

o    ETL Development – Provide code and performance tuning analysis,
recommendations, and development services

o    Technical Documentation – Maintain and develop ETL framework
documentation and operational procedures

o    Analysis, development, and optimization of Informatica Mappings,
Workflows and Sessions for troubleshooting

o    Development and maintenance of Shell Scripts for automation

o    On-call support – Participate in a revolving on-call support schedule

·         Follow defined production support and development standards and
processes

·         Contribute to process and performance improvements

·         Ensure compliance of meta data standards for the data warehouse
