We are looking for a contract Network Voice Analyst.  A self-directed, yet
good team players are the best fit for this role. The position will
support Avaya Communications Manager 5.2.1, Avaya IP Office, Basic Call
Center ACD, IP Phones and  VO/IP G430 remote locations. There are
multiple adjunct servers that are connected to voice, therefore someone
needs to update /patch VM servers.  The Network Voice Analyst will work
with the server team and the vendor when necessary. In addition you will
work with the LAN and Security Team to identify SIP routing and what ports
need to be open. This is a 6 month contract role with possibility of
extension or hire.

Eventually there will be a move to Lync so you would be supporting phone
routing with 2 platforms, Lync and Avaya through Session Manager to Avaya.



*Position Qualifications*

   - MAC technician skills for Avaya Communication Manager 5.2.1.
   - Understanding basic voice and data wiring.  Able to trace wiring etc.
   - Understand routing of voice, and troubleshooting.
   - Basic Network knowledge of what Subnet and VLAN is.
   - Wireshark knowledge is helpful.
   - Troubleshooting with SIP helpful.
