The programmer will build and test open-source content management systems, evaluate the systems together with the project team, and recommend a CMS to OSC executive management. Upon approval of the selected system, the programmer will build, test, and move the system to production.The Consultant will be responsible for performance of the following duties and responsibilities:•collaborate with Project Director to develop team work plans and setting priorities for work assignments undertaken by the team;•assign work to team members and monitor their progress, and work with staff to develop time frames around critical dates, to ensure timely completion of assignments;•mentor team members, encourage professional development, develop training plans with staff that will enhance the team’s ability to deliver solutions, assist staff with new technologies, and with resolution of technical issues;•collaborate with business analysts and other users to gather and refine system requirements and functional design;•analyze functional requirements, and develop technical requirements;•apply appropriate technology as a solution to the business problem;•assist team members in creation of design documents, and other related system documentation, and review and approve final technical design;•assign development tasks to team members, and assist as needed;•provide CMS coding specifications and standards, and validate code against those standards;•conduct technical walkthroughs of proposed system changes;•manage unit testing, following defined testing methodology;•assign testing and quality assurance tasks to team members, and assist as needed;•conduct code reviews and recommend changes;•manage and monitor user acceptance testing of all code changes in a test environment, as well as resolving any defects; and•conduct on-the-job training in PHP/CMS implementation for two state staff.The Consultant must meet the following minimum qualifications:36+ months of experience with:•PHP, HTML, & XML;•installing, setting up and configuring open source CMS;•coding web pages that meet Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) accessibility guidelines;•gathering, documenting, and managing functional requirements and developing technical requirements; and•managing and monitoring unit and user acceptance testing, following a defined testing methodology, and resolving any defects.24+ months of experience with:•responsive design;•cross-browser compatibility; and•MySQL.The Consultant must be able to work with business and IT professionals and have had experience in areas identified above.* *Please send resume to s...@cncconsulting.com <s...@cncconsulting.com> * *Thanks, Sam CNC Consulting, Inc. 201-546-3096 s...@cncconsulting.com <s...@cncconsulting.com>* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "oraapps" group.
