ICAR primarily serves the Child Support Recovery Unit (CSRU) and is one of the bureaus under the DHS Divisions of Data Management. This senior IT developer will function within a team of dedicated web developers. Responsibilities include: 1. Serve as a Technical lead on projects from concept through the post-implementation stage of the Software Development Life Cycle. 2. Serve as a Programmer/Developer on projects lead by other Technical resources 3. Work on New Development, Maintenance Projects, Testing, Requirements/Specifications creation, Problem Logs etc., Other required skills: Ability to work in a team environment and experience with Microsoft Office products. Ability to transform business requirements through functional/technical analysis into technical specifications and design; Ability to build application programs based on technical specifications, test and implement systems Ability to support the SDLC process through post-implementation Support. Good verbal & written communication. Ability to logically analyze complex processes & programs. Ability to understand business processes & to be customer focused. Experience working in both traditional and agile development environments. Demonstrated experience developing complex transactional applications using role-based security management. Demonstrated ability to perform development tasks in the above areas is required. Significant hands-on programming experience with ASP.net, VB.net, Object Oriented programming, Visual Studio Team Edition, Team Foundation Server Required 8 Years Significant hands-on programming experience with .Net Framework 2.0 and above, JAVA Script, jQuery, JASON, VB Script, Web Services, and XML Required 8 Years Significant hands-on programming experience with application development within a Service Oriented Architecture. Required 8 Years Strong T-SQL skills with extensive query and stored procedure development with SQL Server 2005 or above. Required 8 Years SQL Database design/development. Required 5 Years Extensive experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) using Microsoft SQL Server 2005 or above. Required 5 Years Extensive experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) using Microsoft SQL Server 2005 or above. Required 5 Years Lead developer experience. The ability to provide direction and mentoring to other developers on a project using the tools described above. Required 3 Years Ability to perform Web/SQL development tasks relating to the support, maintenance, and implementation of new and existing applications.
