Certification of current RDBMS release or preceding release. 7 years experience using DB2, Oracle or SQL Server PREFERRED: Experience in OS administration. Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology Knowledge & Skills Possesses strong time management skills and partners with others in the team to encourage good time management skills Strong interpersonal skills both verbal and non-verbal that emphasis a customer focuses and creating win-win outcomes Mastery identifying and documenting business requirements, technical requirements and functional design Mentors others in formal project methodologies, change control processes, and general database administration Advanced understanding of the business information needs and processes of the company Strong understanding of the underlying operating system and disk subsystems and mentors other DBAs on how to use this knowledge Superior knowledge of the physical database design and architecture Mastery on all different types of backup & recovery scenarios and solutions Mastery level ability in performance and tuning at the system and database layer. Mastery level experience of tools to support, administer or diagnose the RDBMS. Mastery level experience in securing database environments. Understands industry compliance regulations such as SOX and PCI PREFERRED: Project management skills Knowledge of the financial industry Specialty Area - SQL: Master level experience in administering SQL Server 2005/2008R2/2012 on Windows 2008R2 or 2012 Master level experience in SQL Profiler and SQL Networking Fluent in SQL Server Clustering and and Always On, mirroring and replication technologies Experience in SSAS, SSIS, or SSRS Fluent in Idera and SCOM monitoring Fluent in writing T/SQL scripts Specialty Area - DB2: Fluent in writing and debugging SQL statements Master level experience with DB2 on z/OS Fluent in Omegamon and MainView monitoring Good understanding of BMC tools such as MainView, Change manager Catalog Manager, SQL Workbench, Apptune) Fluent in sub-system level tuning ______________________________________________ Thanks for your assistance.
