Position : PHP /WordPress Developer Location : Irvine, CA Duration : Long Term *Rate:$50/HR MAX on C2C* *Need EAD / GC’s / USC’s Only* Job Description Develop enterprise quality, media rich websites using PHP/WordPress Build responsive front-end web components using 3rd party and/or custom scripted WordPress plugins Tweak and optimize code for improved SEO Collaborate with engineering teams in project planning and management using agile development methodologies like SCRUM Write well-structured code, effectively document changes and additions to projects, and solicit feedback from peers Contribute to code repositories using Git, review Pull Requests and modified code, critique and provide constructive feedback Collaborate with Product Managers, QA, and other team members to shepherd changes through development, staging, and up to production environments Analyze opportunities for automating or generating reusable code Participate and contribute in weekly brown bag sessions Qualifications Expert knowledge of WordPress API’s and development experience with plugins and themes Expert knowledge in coding custom plugins, themes and templates, from the ground up Experience with Wordpress hooks, custom fields, overriding functions, taxonomies, and post-types Expert knowledge of front end development using HTML5, JavaScript, CSS3, and CSS Preprocessors like sass or less Expert knowledge of jQuery and jQuery plugins Proficient with debugging JavaScript, adding breakpoints and stepping through scripts Strong experience in MySQL and database design principles Knowledge of OO principles, design patterns, and MVC Experience with Bootstrap or a similar framework for Responsive Web Development Knowledge of best-practices for efficient server utilization, including caching techniques Understanding of source control management (We use Git and Stash) Knowledge of page speed optimization best practices Understanding of SEO best practices and standards Eagerness to continuously learn and share Regards, *Anna Jones*| IT Recruiter *ITBrainiac Inc*, Princeton Forrestal Village116 Village Blvd, Suite 200 Princeton, NJ 08540 Tel # 201-588-7291 Email: *ann...@itbtalent.com <ann...@itbtalent.com>* Website: www.itbrainiac.com -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "oraapps" group.
