*Need Java Developer in MN - 9 Months contract!* Position : Java Developer Location : Minnetonka,MN Duration : 9 Months(Contract To hire) *Need GC or USC!* Top Responsibilities: •Partner with Developers, DBAs, Enterprise Architects, and Shared Services teams and Product Management to develop performance testing plan. •Responsible for identifying performance tuning opportunities by reviewing Java code written by other developers, configuration files, database SQL and make recommendations to developers. •Develop new tools and utilities to automate performance testing, analysis and debugging process. •Automate test data support for performance testing activities and repeatability of the test. •Monitor application and infrastructure performance, document issues and working with the Developers/DBA/Other Engineers to identify performance issues resolution. •Generate periodic test reports showing performance test results comparing to the target performance goals. MUST HAVE: Minimum 7+years of prior “hands-on” development experience using technologies such as Java/JEE, Groovy, Spring, Maven. •Bachelor’s degree in engineering. •10+ years of prior experience in web-based application, Database, Webservices, APIs Batch/ETL performance testing/tuning. Should have good understanding of various application tiers and middle-ware in a web-based development environment. •5+ years of experience using one or more automated performance monitoring tools. •5+years of prior hands-on development experience in mainframe, Object Oriented Programming. •5+ Years of hands-on development experience with PL/SQL, good understanding of database concepts, XML/JSON, Flat/Delimited files, MQ messages, EDI X12 files. •3+ years of hands-on development experience with UNIX. •Exposure to incremental agile software development methodologies. Prior experience in working closely with Developers and Architects in solving software performance issues. •Strong troubleshooting and reasoning skills; the ability to debug and resolve difficult technical problems. •Familiarity with various performance tools and the ability to evaluate, select and use the appropriate tools for the problem at hand.
