Works independently in a fast paced environment. *Position Description:* Under general direction, the Sr. Informatica Administrator is responsible for administration of the Extraction Transformation and Load (ETL) environment. Responsibilities include defining project best practices, installing software, engineering solutions, compliance, change management, disaster recovery, security and all other aspects needed to manage and support the ETL environment. The selected candidate will be responsible for participating on projects throughout all stages of the development lifecycle. This position requires a creative and technical mindset, excellent communication skills and the ability to multitask effectively. *Detailed Description:* · Implementation and support of Informatica software including patches and upgrades for the ETL environment · Set up and configuration of enterprise production, QA, development and disaster recovery Informatica environments · Back-up and recovery of Informatica software, repository, and configurations · Disaster recovery planning, design, execution and documentation · Monitoring the environments and suggesting improvements for stability and performance tuning · Provide technical support and work with infrastructure teams to ensure an effective operating environment including throughput, repository sizing, capacity planning, and maintenance · Identify opportunities for improvement, make proposals and participate in the planning of new and enhanced technologies or services within area of expertise · Define standards and implement best practices to manage and support the ETL environment · Creation and maintenance of technical documentation, deployment diagrams and check-lists · Automating routine tasks where appropriate *Knowledge and Experience:* · *Must have 5-7 years of experience as Informatica Administration is required. * · Must have advanced knowledge of Informatica *PowerCenter* on UNIX/ Linux. · Experience *installing* Informatica software in High-availability & Clustered environment is required. · Experience with PowerExchange a plus · Experience with Informatica Proactive Monitoring for PowerCenter a plus · Must have experience using *Oracle* databases in a Unix/ Linux environment. Unix/ Linux scripting knowledge is important. · Must have 5-7 years knowledge of *SQL* including PL/SQL. · Knowledge of logical, physical, and data-warehouse modeling is desired. · Must have strong project management skills · Must have the ability to think logically and design applications *Education:* · Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
