*Please send resume to **s...@cncconsulting.com <s...@cncconsulting.com>* Job Title: Data Datawarehouse Architect Location: Salem, OR Duration: 6 months Direct Client Position Client: State of OR Reviews, evaluates, designs, implements and maintains company database[s]. Identifies data sources, constructs data decomposition diagrams, provides data flow diagrams and documents the process. Writes codes for database access, modifications, and constructions including stored procedures. Requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty and at least at least 8 years or equivalent experience in the field or in a related area. Demonstrates expertise in a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. May provide consultation on complex projects and is considered to be the top level contributor or specialist. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. This contract position will provide expert SQL Server consulting and technical services for the DHS/OHA Office of Information Services OR-Kids System. OR-Kids is the State’s SACWIS. The level of contract support is anticipated to be approximate ½ time for a year, not to exceed 1040 hours. The types of services that will be provided are: Manage and tune database query performance Design and Implement security strategy Create server and database audit specifications Design indexes for existing applications, choosing when to add or remove indexes Implement Replication near real-time processing, including system monitoring and scripts for modifications and upgrades Design Storage Architecture, Partitioning and TempDB usage, including the implementation of compression techniques.
