Recommending and implementing policies and standards. Automation of processes around application and OS performance testing. Analysis of data related to Windows Desktop OS and application performance. Qualification: 5+ years experience with performance testing/troubleshooting of Windows OS and applications. Strong knowledge of Windows OS internals/architecture (e.g. memory management, CPU utilization). Familiar with following tools: Perfmon, Sysinternals Suite (Process Monitor, Process Explorer), xPerf, Windows Performance Analyzer Knowledge and/or experience in applications security assessment. Understanding of security tools used in windows desktop environment: SEP, DLP, CSP. Understanding of Virtual Desktop Infrastructure. Ability to conduct basic memory dump analysis. Minimum of 3+ years experience with Problem & Incident Management. Must be able to take charge and drive solutions during priority 1 incidents leading teams (technical and non-technical) through effective and efficient incident resolution o Drive RCA and resulting actions through full conclusion. Demonstrated project management skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to work independently with little or no supervision. Attention to detail and track record of consistently meeting deadlines. BS or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or similar preferred. Additional skills: Scripting (e.g. Powershell, VB, Python) Knowledge of relational databases and be able to create simple SQL queries Experience with tools used to automate application performance and responsiveness testing.
