Role : Oracle Technical/Development Lead Location : Boston, MA Duration : Long Term Experience : 8+ Years # Rate : DOE Oracle Technical/Development Lead Job Description: The Oracle Technical Lead will be responsible for collaborating with the business stakeholders to understand key business objectives, gather business requirements and develop design documents and test cases to provide fully integrated solutions. Person in this role will need to have the capability to manage smaller teams of analysts, developers, testers and architects and drive delivery of modules within project. This person and his team would be responsible for adhering to functional project plans and deliverables from time to time. Such person in lead role will need to liaison closely with functional SMEs to gather, analyze, build, orchestrate and delivery integrated, robust & scalable solutions to the clients. Person should be experienced working with offshore development team. Minimum work experience: 8 + Years Roles & Responsibilities: - Liaise between functional SMEs and Business Applications Services group to support existing systems and provide analysis for systems implementation, upgrade and enhancement projects. - Understands and translates the business strategy, business goals, and business processes into an IT solution. - Research, analyze, and recommend solutions which meet the business needs for new projects. - Translate business architecture through the elicitation and definition of functional requirements - Quickly understands business problems and opportunities in the context of the requirements, systems capabilities, and presents solution options. - Facilitates and leads cross functional team of business owners, developers, system architects, QA and other key stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective systems solution. Requirements - BS in Information Systems, Computer Science or related field. - The ideal candidate must have 8-10 years of overall related experience in Oracle applications development. - 8+ years of experience working with implementing and/or upgrading Oracle EBS R12 as a technical consultant - 5+ years leading Oracle EBS technical teams for upgrade and/or implementations - Able to estimate technical work efforts of CEMLI remediation and RICE development - Hands-on and deep technical expertise in the following: SQL, PL/SQL programming - Familiar with extending tools such as Workflows, Web ADI, Oracle interfaces, FNDLoad, XML Publisher, OBIEE. - Familiar with Oracle architecture - UNIX OS scripting and programming - RDBMS and strong knowledge of Oracle DB - Oracle EBS development standards and guidelines (prescribed by Oracle) - Extensive experience remediating, designing and handling customizations and RICE Objects in Oracle EBS.
