*Need For UI Software Engineer - Need Local OR Nearby.* *Position : *UI Software Engineer. *Location : *Sunnyvale, CA (Not an F2F) *Duration :* 6+ Months. Skills and Experience Required : Implement and test user interface application software. The application will be integrated into a new globallydeveloped product line that combines automotive diagnostic test functionality with high-performance measurement capabilities. Work closely with other team members to ensure that new products are launched on-time, on-spec, and on-budget. Primary responsibility is writing WPF (XAML and C#) source code. Implement styles to achieve the functional and visual aspects of the user interface as specified by visual designers. Integrate WPF application with unmanaged Windows DLLs. Attention to the UI responsiveness aspect of the application is important. Implement, test, and integrate Windows-based software components. Responsible for providing the customer (internal and external) with products that exceed customer’s expectations. Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, or equivalent experience Minimum of 5 years of experience as a software engineer with strong focus on writing WPF applications using Microsoft Visual Studio. Experience with Subversion source code management system is desirable. Experience integrating managed and native code in the Windows environment is desirable.
