*Immediate Need For Perl Programmer In CA.* *Position : *Perl Programmer. *Location :* San Jose, CA. *Duration :* 6 Month. *Responsibilities:* Encodes, tests, debugs, and installs the operating program and procedures in coordination with the users. Consults with user(s) to identify current operating procedures and clarify program objectives. Formulates plan outlining steps required to develop program and submits plan for user approval. Converts project specifications into sequence of detailed instructions and logical steps for coding into language processable by a computer. Analyzes program logic to detect syntax or logic errors during program tests, or uses diagnostic software to detect errors. Analyzes, reviews, and alters program(s) to increase operating efficiency or adapt to new user requirements Track and report work hours by project or other pre-defined, non-project categories. Meet project deadlines and provides regular project status updates to his/her supervisor. Documents development, logic, coding, and corrections, as required by Systems Development standards. Monitors performance of program after implementation.
