*Location: NYC, NY* *Duration: 12+ Months* *In-Person Interview* *Position description* As an Applications Engineer work in small teams in a highly collaborative way, use the latest technologies and enjoy seeing the direct impact from your work. You will be exposed to a large variety of tasks in a highly communicative environment, in several activities described hereunder. Key activities & responsibilities Work within engineering team to provision, optimize and troubleshoot the company’s SaaS offering. In this context, the key activities of the Applications Engineer are (typical and non exhaustive):- Troubleshooting (Level 2 application support) Troubleshoot application or infrastructure issues Provide feedback / guideline to development (Level 3) teams to increase robustness and troubleshooting capabilities Identify and redirect issues to appropriate teams Communicate and follow up on application bugs Document and collaborate to the knowledge base Train Level 1 engineers on problem resolution Develop and maintain monitoring tools *Desired skills* Exceptional problem-solving skills Excellent communicator A minimum of 9 years’ experience in Application development on various environments, specifically .Net SQL Server Web : html5 / javascript Scripting knowledge (Powershell) Windows *Additional experience in the following is a plus;* C# - WCF Ruby / Java Oracle / MongoDB /Mysql / graph database Linux Cloud Amazon Passionate about technology and helping your clients Ability to self-manage, be autonomous, well organized and structured. Able to process complex information and present it clearly and simply Be able to cope with pressure and demonstrate a reasonable level of flexibility/adaptability.
