If you have a resource who has excellent experience with Extreme Network products and XOS The key to this role Candidate Must have Extreme Network product experience Extreme Networks experience required ( http://www.extremenetworks.com/products/switching-routing) Extreme Core Switches i.e. BD8800 (D-Series), or X770, X670, X480, X460, X450, X440, X430 Job Description: To design, implement, monitor and provide operational support for the network and infrastructure system. Replace hardware circuits, security paths, video maintenance and all network hardware & software as needed Interacting with vendors (upscale if needed) and maintain vendor relationship Performs necessary troubleshooting, diagnostic, research, evaluation and documentation of various WAN/LAN/VoIP, Video and data communications issues and solutions. Monitors and reports findings with security, intrusion prevention and detection systems. Evaluates network/ information systems security tools and equipment, implementing and developing ongoing operational procedures. Develops and maintains network diagrams, network inventories, IP address schemes, server and storage inventory diagrams and other documentation as required. Works with operations group to establish monitoring protocols and thresholds, set up monitoring and test tools on servers infrastructure, LAN, WAN, and the Internet Requirements: Network storage & Security background Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent experience 5+ years of network engineering knowledge and experience.
