Analyzes data requirements, application and processing architectures, data dictionaries, and database schema(s), and then designs, develops, amends, optimizes, and certifies database schema design to meet system(s) requirements. Gathers, analyzes, and normalizes relevant information related to, and from business processes, functions, and operations to evaluate data credibility and determine relevance and meaning. Develops database and warehousing designs across multiple platforms and computing environments. Develops an overall data architecture that supports the information needs of the business in a flexible but secure environment. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience. Typically has at least 6 years of IT work experience in DBA, DBMS design and support and relevant computing environments. *Position Comments:* Minimum 5 years experience is adequate This DB Analyst will provide analytics for production support for insight into alarm thresholds and analyzing data to reduce the amount of alarms for the Watermark project. The individual will review and provide solutions for identified alarm issues. Required experience: • T-SQL, PL/SQL languages • Oracle, MS SQL, MS Access database experience • MS Excel, Powerpoint, Visio • Ad Hoc reporting • Operations background • Preferred but not required cable and/or telecom experience Bonus experience: • Dashboards ( I.e.
