1+ Year Contract
Manager wants tenure, i.e. 2-3 years on multiple projects, reason is this
role is a long term-multi-year contract
Please review what the manager is looking for, we just had a conversation
with him and he is looking for a *TRUE* *Data Modeler Expert*
Please do not send typical ETL resources
Short phone screen and then Skype (“to watch them” is what he literally
told me). *Wants to make a decision by next Friday at the latest.*
This is for the Identity and Access Management team – they set all the
rules and standards for data. No data moves into, out of or across the
company without them touching it and it meeting this team’s standards. They
design all automated on boarding and integration with HR and payroll
systems. They handle all access requests, provisioning, approvals (and
created what that process should be) and data policies – this is not just
around users but around all systems and applications as well.
*They are looking for a data expert to work with the data lead (a 12 year
contractor). *
*Data modelling – fitting new data into old models and old
models into new, redoing data models on individual applications*
* Data stabilization*
* ETL/DTS – moving exceptionally large amounts of data*
*Aggregation of data*
* Creating data views and object scripts*
* Strong background in transactional data*
* Oracle and big data experience preferred*
*3 major projects slated for the next year or so:*
1. Identity proofing – how do I make sure this is the same person who
accessed XOM’s products/systems/applications as yesterday or last month or
last year. (IE – pictures and camera recognition, name matching, ID number
matching, birthdate matching, etc.) – across the entire company globally
2. Bringing in Salesforce – will need to be integrated with a large
number of applications
3. Integrating Beeline into their systems globally - right now it’s
only used for XOM IT (EMIT) and primarily is US based – they want it
globally across all contingent and SOW work labor so that if someone works
for Adecco under EMIT now and then under another XOM program through Adecco
later, they know it’s the same person and all their history and detail is
linked. This is huge for government based projects they have in different
countries because some people cannot work on 2 projects simultaneously or
in succession because of XOM security rules and government laws in
difference countries.
