6-12 months contract . *Top Skills Should You Possess:* - Expertise in IT technical solutions in the enterprise Risk domain, with a focus on Customer Master and Credit Risk - Customer Master and Credit Risk project experience from a business perspective and familiarity with the principals of MDM business solution design - Proficiency in leading the definition of scope, requirements, and system boundaries for the Customer Master solution *What You’ll Be Doing:* - Responsible for the overall defining and delivering of IT technical solutions in the enterprise Risk domain, with a focus on Customer Master and Credit Risk. - Work with the Business Subject Matter Experts to define and decompose detailed processes that will then feed into the use cases. - Take a leadership role and leverage a strong financial industry business knowledge background to elicit, analyze and rationalize business requirements for the global and then transition these into a functional design. - Currently our client has a custom application that will either be enhanced or replaced to meet the growing needs around a Customer Master application. The objective of the Customer Master is to create a single source of Customer data that will be accessible by business users and other systems. Areas of coverage include business, data, and functional requirements; data cleansing; matching to 3rd party reference sets; and information delivery requirements. - The role requires close partnership with the business stakeholders, enterprise architects, and project teams. - Responsible for defining and implementing enterprise wide solutions related to Customer Master, Credit Risk Data, along with Basel Compliance functionality. - Leading the definition of scope, requirements, and system boundaries for the Customer Master solution. Identify what functions will be performed by the new/modified Customer Master system and which functions other systems will perform. Define what data should be contained in the Customer Master solution and document the metadata information associated to customer data. - Represent business users and champion their needs when discussing potential implementation solutions including business process reengineering. - Developing system integration plans that will create a centralized customer data repository. - Provide input to standards, guidelines and processes to consistently address recurring enterprise master data issues such as data governance, data convergence, master data definition, metadata acquisition, data standards and data integration/synchronization. - Ensure that business requirements and architectural requirements are fully met. - Analysis, design and implementation of solutions for all of the applications with in the domain. This includes user interface design, mapping documents, process flows, and business rule documentation. - Applying today's methods and technologies to create efficient and reusable solutions. - Contribute to development, implementation and monitoring of a quality system within the risk delivery area, in line with existing quality systems, in order to assure specifications and designs are delivered within standard and with the highest quality enabling more effective development and testing activities. - Functional testing and system integration testing of the Risk application changes and solutions. - Manage the transition of solution deliverables to development and production. Ensure the fulfillment of the business needs and the continuity of IT service delivery SLA’s with incoming solutions. - Estimating and planning integration effort and impact on projects and small business improvements (changes), as well as providing input into the resource management process. - Evaluating and improving processes and architecture in the domain *What You Need to Bring to the Table:* - The skill set required includes RUP (Rational Unified Process), Business process skills, Financial Services and Customer Master background preferred, and an acute ability to document designs. - At least 5 years of relevant working experience in the area of application solution design - Experience in identifying business requirements for enterprise-wide customer based master reference data and seeing those requirements to final implementation, including writing use cases, state diagrams, process flows capturing business rules and requirements. - Experience in Finance, Customer Master, and Master Data Management solutions. - Leading and mentoring a team within a project environment that is sensitive to project timelines - Customer Master and Credit Risk project experience from a business perspective and familiarity with the principals of MDM business solution design - Working with clients to establish data standards, including metadata definitions - Data analysis/profiling using common tools to confirm data populations/exceptions - Participating in designing/developing data governance standards, roles and responsibilities - Designing data conversion strategies, mapping and cleansing workshops. - Experience in applying architectural principles as part of your solution design. - Good knowledge of targeted business area and the IT landscape. - Good communications and consulting skills. - Good knowledge of customer and service oriented working Good project and process management skills.
