AIX/Linux Support Analyst, Sr II
18 months to 2 years 45/hr Norristown, PA Responsibilities: • Management of all PJM Linux MTA mail servers. • Experienced with security certificate authority server setup and administration • Configuration management support for both hardware and software leveraging best practices, software packaging, version control systems. • Proactive vulnerability management using state of the art security tools and processes • Systems programming for AIX Linux setup, support, maintenance and design functions • Participate in the development and completion of testing activities related to the analyst's specific platform. • Manage, maintain and support middleware software working closely with developers, third party vendors, and customers to ensure a reliable and scalable platform. Required Skills and Experience: • Bachelor Degree or equivalent work experience • System administration skills for AIX/Linux platforms • Knowledge of Security related issues as they apply to the AIX/Linux environment • Working knowledge and experience with at least one Unix-based scripting language • 1 – 5 years technology experience working in a Unix or Linux support position Preferred: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline • Experience with one or more of the following languages: bourne shell, korn shell, perl, ruby, python, C • Experience packaging software for Unix systems (LPP, RPM, etc) • Experience with SuSE Linux Enterprise Server (SLES) • Ability to install, configure and maintain HACMP clustering technologies • Familiarity with configuration management systems (puppet, chef, cfengine) • Familiarity with GIT or Subversion version control systems • Familiarity with Disaster Recovery Concepts • Knowledge of Performance Management tools and concepts • Knowledge of IBM, NetApp, and/or Brocade SAN and Storage platforms • Knowledge of SAN integration concepts for SAN-attached Unix systems • Experience with VMware vSphere virtualization • Experience with JBoss application stack Start Time: 9:00 AM Hours: 8:00am to 5:00pm Regards: Sam Williams - Recruiting Manager ITBrainiac Inc.
