Our Client is seeking a Teradata Solutions Architect
Location: *West Chester PA*
Duration: *12 months.*
Rate: *$70/hr+*
Interview type: *Phone and F2F if local. Skype is ok if non local.*
Description:
Architect Data Warehouse & ETL solutions to process/load source systems
data into Teradata using native utilities as well as Informatica.
Excellent Communicator with proven experience reporting “up” and “out”, as
well as within their team. Proactive research, document, and drive
resolution “solution gaps” — ie. “gap analysis". Identify net change from
upstream systems’ daily full input. Well versed in all aspects of the
Teradata platform, and its use in an enterprise level Data Warehouse
Skills:
- Primary MUST: proven experience as a Solution-level Architect for
enterprise Data Warehouse systems:
- Experience spearheading and driving “Gap Analysis"
- Experience designing and architecting ETL-driven data warehouses,
with “big data” volumes, and OLAP designs
- This role will not have any “development” with these technologies,
but this person needs to be able to "get into the code"
- Primary MUST: advanced experience with Teradata BTEQ
- Secondary MUST: reasonable experience with Informatica
- Secondary MUST: understanding of and at least light experience with
Hadoop
