Intranet Developer with .NET Location: Natick MA Duration: 4-6 months contract
Description: The Junior Technical Analyst is responsible for production support of the company's corporate intranet. The selected candidate will be responsible for daily support of the corporate intranet, upgrades, user requests, bug fixes, enhancements, interfaces, and other business requests. Candidate will be responsible for driving the updates to all websites and webservers to support the corporate IE8 rollout. The core application technologies used by Corporate Intranet are: Windows Server 2003, IIS, ASP,ASPX, HTML, WebTrends, SharePoint SQL Server 2005 and Corporate Internet Experience. Skills: Proficient with the support of a company based corporate intranet including production support of corporate intranet hardware. - Essential communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills. - Proficient in SQL Server 2005, Windows Server 2003 and IIS 6.0 and greater with 3-5 years of proven experience. - Detailed working knowledge of IIS, Application Pools, Webservices, .Net Framework and other web based components to support corporate intranet. - Must be able to handle multiple priorities both short term and long term and can handle critical user requests. - Technical experience with website and webserver troubleshooting and the identification of root cause to reported issues. Candidate needs to be a proficient problem solver. • Experience with corporate intranet browser upgrades, IE8 upgrade in progress and can handle addressing issues with current websites using IE8. • Background with WebTrends a plus. • Proven background with website development and solid ability to manage multiple webserver environments (development, staging and production). • Previous experience with documentation of website topology, website inventory and maintaining documentation standards for knowledge repository. • Prior experience with Expression Web or Sharepoint Designer is a bonus ---------------------------------------------------- Best regards, Ram Ram K Vutukuri Team Lead - Resourcing Pyramid Consulting, Inc.
