*We are looking for a long term Java/Linux developer consultant
responsiblefor the technical design, implementation, and documentation*
*of our software product (based upon Java and Linux).*
*The role Includes technical design documentation, development, and
testing. Your primary responsibility will be to design and develop these
applications,and to coordinate with the rest of the team working on
different layers of theinfrastructure. Thus, a commitment to collaborative
problem solving,sophisticated design, and product quality is essential*
*Requirements:Install, configure, and troubleshoot components of the
applicationsPerform day-to-day database administration and ensure
integrity, securityand availability of applications environment.Integrates
applications by designing database architecture and server
scripting;studying and establishing connectivity with network
systems,search engines, and information servers.Knowledge, Skills and
Abilities Required (KSAR)Complete understanding of Java, Linux, and product
developmentFamiliarity with Maven, bash, JSON and Linux administration
software in an active application development environment.Full technical
know-how of ad utilities, fixes (patch) applications, upgrades, and release
management cycle.Minimum years of ExperienceThis position requires a
minimum of eight (8) years previous related workexperience as a Java
server-side developer with four (4+) years Linux Development
Experience,Integration Development Experience and Socket Level
Programming.Required Professional/Preferred Education
RequirementsBachelor’s degree or recognized equivalent, from an accredited
university preferredProduct Development Experience requiredExperience with
Maven, bash, JSON, and Linux administration preferred.*
