*Position: Sr. Software Engineer Location: Boston-MA Duration: 3-Months * *Job Description: The Sr. Software Engineer, Web will be responsible for the creating scalable web applications and web services supporting our consumer facing online entertainment destination. Our new online entertainment destination for kids, featuring online games and videos from many of ours and other brands featured on the new kids television network. The Sr. Software Engineer, Web will report to the Director, Engineering and Development, and work closely with other developers, designers, DBAs, system administrators, and other product and marketing personnel. Education Requirements: Experience: • Proven track record of success in developing web applications and infrastructure for scalable consumer web sites, experience with online entertainment sites (online games, videos, etc) a plus • Ability to define and implement new web based technology solutions and enhancements across multiple web environments to deliver maximum value for our business partners. Excellent technical leadership skills and ability to manage a diverse set of stakeholders. Technical skills should include • 8+ years of experience developing web applications, with a solid understanding of Internet technologies and architecture • 5+ years Java, PHP, or similar web application development language experience • 5+ years experience with SQL database query development work, designing database schemas, tuning applications and databases • Experience programming and integrating web systems components such as content management systems, ad serving systems, content distribution networks, etc. • Technical expertise in Web architecture and design principles, Web Services / SOA, etc. • Solid understanding of middleware and integration technologies • Knowledge of XML, XSL, XSLT, Javascript, SOAP/REST, HTML and HTTP * * * *Thanks Mak Wilson | Technical Recruiter* * * -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "oraapps" group.
