*6+Month’s (Extendble)* *Job Description:* *Required Skills*: Networking Data Infra Consulting Consulting, Infra Consulting*, *Wireless Networks Consulting - Senior level network engineers with requisite experience & credentials to join our Global Projects Team - Project Rollouts - Major Network Upgrades - Level 4 Trouble Resolution - Root Problem Analysis for a large, enterprise LAN / MAN / WAN environment centered in Burbank CA. - This position will serve as Routing / Switching / Firewall / VPN SMEs, and will develop and execute various projects to enhance & expand our client's network, including detailed design, cost analysis, project planning, implementation, documentation and cross-training of peers. - Selected individuals must demonstrate excellent customer service & team building skills, project planning & implementation leadership, and will be required to routinely interact directly with customers, to serve as a SME & technical lead within the team, and to participate in & foster a “team environment.” - This position will frequently be called upon to design and implement difficult network setups and to interact with application support teams to diagnose network / application performance issues. - This position operates in a 7x24x365 SLA driven environment, requiring flexible work hours and onsite presence in Dallas TX. * Job Requirements* - In-depth experience in DC-LAN technologies such as Load Balancers and QIP servers, and Network Security services such as Firewalls & VPN, and also WiFi controllers. - In-depth, LAN / MAN / WAN / WiFi support & engineering experience. - Demonstrated experience in supporting complex, enterprise level LAN / MAN / WAN networks. - Knowledge & experience with Cisco routing hardware, software & protocols. - Knowledge & experience with Cisco switching hardware, software & protocols. Familiarity with Cisco’s Nexus product line. - Expert level experience with installation & maintenance of Cisco & Aruba WiFi controller systems. - Expert level experience with installation & maintenance of VPN, Firewall, Load Balancer and Vital QIP systems. - Working knowledge of structured cabling, network facilities, electrical & UPS. - In-depth experience with packet / protocol analyzers to find and remedy application and network performance issues. - Ability to work alone as an individual contributor, or as a technical lead when required. - Positive, proactive, “can do” attitude. Willingness to participate and share in rotating on-call duties and Level 4 problem resolution. - Ability to respond to on-call / on-site situations - 10+ Years of professional experience in WAN / MAN / LAN Network solutions, at the Enterprise level. - Undergraduate degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering (or related technical degree). - Extensive Wireless Network Engineering (WiFi / 802.11) experience (CWNA preferred). · Extensive Network Facilities (fiber, copper, electrical) experience.
