Job Title: SQL Developer Location: Plano, TX Duration: 6+ months contract Visa : GC, GC EAD, USC Max rate : $60/hr on C2C all Inc. *Essential Duties and Responsibilities:* (Not listed in order of importance. Other duties may be assigned) · Modify existing software configuration within limits of implementation parameters and industry best practices to correct errors, allowing it to adapt to new hardware, enhance the customer usage, or to improve its performance. · Create database objects such as tables, views, stored procedures, triggers, etc… · *Maintain* referential integrity, domain integrity, and column integrity by using the available options such as constraints, etc… · Identify columns for Primary Keys in all the tables at the design time and create them · *Create functions* to provide custom functionality as per the project requirements · Be aware of potential blocking, deadlocking, and write code to avoid these situations · Develop reports in SQL Serve Reporting Services · Understanding of tools needed to tune SQL objects for high performance · Consult with customers about software system issues and associated user training / issues / needs. · Develop lab system test steps / processes / procedures and conduct extensive lab system testing, validation, and documentation as directed by the Project Manager. · Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of systems or project implementation within time and cost constraints. · Work closely with the Project Manager in areas such as requirements definitions, functional specifications documentation, and other necessary documents to ensure both customer and company expectations are met or exceeded. · Identify new Sales or PS opportunities for Retalix both in the HQ / Store vertical as well as other verticals and notify the Director of HQ / Store PS, appropriate Sales representative, or their direct reports. · Work with other HQ/Store PS team members in development or modification of technical interfaces for implementation or upgrade projects. · Participation in project meetings as determined necessary by the Project Manager. · Documentation of technical requirements for Functional Specification forms. · Familiarization and adherence to project scope, deliverables, and budget. · Stay abreast of advances in technology. · Perform other duties as required. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "oraapps" group.
