Business Analyst – With an E-commerce background * *Kindly Reply on: lisa.d...@itbtalent.com <lisa.d...@itbtalent.com>* *Columbus Ohio3-6+ Months Contract Face to Face interview Only LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY * As a skilled communicator, the Business Analyst (BA) is a liaison that manages requirements from client needs and business requirements, through technology and functional requirements, to solution implementation – providing communication, analysis, support, and documentation where needed. *Career Path* The role of the BA at Resource is divided into 5 primary roles, based on both knowledge and practical experience across areas of business analysis, including: - project related requirements management, including: planning, elicitation, analysis, and validation - business process management - strategic requirements analysis - leadership as it pertains to coaching, mentoring, and managing people - leadership and change management as it pertains to best practice initiatives, leading teams of analysts, and the ability to advance the craft *Business Analyst Role* - *Senior Business Analyst** – advanced knowledge and practical experience on project related requirements management and business process management* *Business Analyst Experience* A *Senior Business Analyst* has at least 8 years of practical experience in the role, with repeated practice performing business analysis in a variety of complex situations. A person in this role knows what tasks, techniques, and deliverables to use, and what influences the usage of them. He or she works independently, but can plan, supervise, or lead the work of other Analysts on large projects and work efforts. This analyst has a deep working knowledge of most, if not all, business analysis Knowledge Areas. - This practitioner is consistent with the qualifications required for the Certified Business Analysis Professional™ (CBAP®) designation. *Responsibilities and Expectations* - Requirements Planning: - Flexible and adaptable to the processes and techniques needed to complete work - Identifies project stakeholders, subject matter experts, and impacted systems - Determines requirements-related tasks and estimates - Works on multiple projects with cross-functional teams, sometimes leading a team of Business Analysts, other times as the exclusive BA - Prioritizes to meet deadlines and expectations - Develops effective requirements communication plan, approach, and traceability to manage requirements process - Requirements Elicitation: - Leverages proven methods and elicitation techniques to engage stakeholders, and gather requirements essential to the success of the project - Expertly communicates with internal teams and external clients as needed - Facilitates requirements information gathering sessions and client meetings as needed - Requirements Analysis - Manages requirements tasks and deliverables to meet the expectations of teammates, client, and other stakeholders - Performs analytical tasks using techniques that enable an efficient, iterative delivery approach of continuous requirements identification - Performs business and application analyses and problem-solving related to digital experience design - Translates wireframes and creative layouts into functional and non-functional requirements - Describes the characteristics of an acceptable solution to a business problem, so the project team has a clear understanding of how to design and implement the solution - Document requirements effectively for audience(s), and host review sessions for team feedback - Develops SMART requirements– specific, measurable, accurate, relevant, and traceable - Requirements Validation - Acts as liaison throughout project to help with understanding of, and traceability between, project goals, business requirements, technical requirements, and solution provided - Manages client, stakeholder, and team expectations - Participates in ad-hoc testing as required by QA team - Participates in or facilitates user acceptance testing - Business Process Management: - Identifies current state and future state for processes - Conducts gap analyses, feasibility studies, and impact analyses as it pertains to process and product - Works with Business Analysis practice lead to implement requirements management best practices - Initiates lessons learned activities to drive continuous process improvement - Other Business Analysis - Contributes to the advocacy of the value added in having a business analyst on a project - Works with BA practice lead to develop and implement standards and best practices - Identifies opportunities for improvement - Attends and contributes to project team goals, training, and presentations - Coaches and mentors Analysts with less experience *Required** Skills and Qualifications* - Minimum of 6 years of experience as a Business Analyst - Practical knowledge of Iterative, Agile, and Waterfall project methodologies, and how requirements management is modified to accommodate project needs - Practical knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) - Able to work in a fast-paced, highly creative environment - Expert communication and facilitation skills - Experience with digital / mobile application projects *Preferred Additional Skills and Qualifications* - A bachelor's degree in a related field of study - Certified Scrum Master preferred - Experience on eCommerce projects preferred. * Regards,Lisa Dutt - Staffing ManagerDesk No # 609-935-3773 EXT 102 | Email : lisa.d...@itbtalent.com <lisa.d...@itbtalent.com>Fax 727 499 0906 ITBrainiac Inc. 116 Village Blvd, Suite 200 - Princeton, NJ 08540 www.itbrainiac.com <http://www.itbrainiac.com/>* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "oraapps" group.
