Qlikview Developer Job in New York, NY • The core requirements for this position will be providing Qlikview development on both existing and new/prototype applications. • Executing all phases of the technology life cycle, based on proven project management and testing methodologies. Responsibilities: • Reporting/UI Design deliverables go from UI prototypes, to mock-ups to a finished product reporting interface. • Brainstorm broad concepts and ideas of various reporting designs, both individually and with the team, and translate those into a consumable, tangible objective. • User & Design flows, experiences, and mockups with product specs that can be prototyped and refined in collaboration with the GRA Reporting team. • Estimating timeframes for self in order to deliver projects on time and to budget. • Contribute to high-level strategic decisions around report designs, Data visualization and creative direction. • Create functional specifications at the level necessary to extend or customize existing proof of concept product • Gather requirements using interviews, document analysis, workshops, business process descriptions, use business case scenarios, business analysis, task and workflow analysis • Develop project documentation, testing materials, training materials, requirements gathering including downstream and upstream interface requirements and adhering to a project management methodology is a must Knowledge and experience: • Experienced in developing solutions using Qlikview software • Intermediate level skill in integrating data using Qlikview • Intermediate level skill in Qlikview scripting • Good knowledge of installing and configuring/administering QlikView Desktop, QlikView Server, IIS Server and QlikView Publisher • Experience in managing Access point security thru Active Directory and DMS • Schedule QVW reloads on server and troubleshoot errors and failures • Candidate should possess strong background in Data Analysis and have some data modeling experience • Intermediate level skill in using SQL • Experience in a Data Warehouse environment reporting on dimensions/hierarchies • Experience in Star Schema/Snowflake modeling, FACT & Dimensions tables • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent plus 3 + years related work experience • Strong organizational skills, excellent communication and presentation skills, and strong knowledge of property and casualty insurance preferred • Strong knowledge of the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) process is required • Strong knowledge and understanding of databases and applications development concepts • Good level of comfort using VB Scripts to write Macros in QlikView and/or Excel • Excellent communication and presentation skills and strong knowledge of property and casualty insurance is preferred. • Experience in the risk management field including management of key risks for a property & casualty insurance company is preferred • Proficient in Word, Excel, Windows-based applications and internet usage. • Capable of multitasking & prioritizing in a fast paced and agile work environment • Attention to detail and a passion to produce a quality product Regards, Sam Williams |Recruiting Manager Direct : 646-499-5264 Princeton | New Jersey-08540 swilli...@itbtalent.com || swilli...@itbrainiac.com <file:///C:/Documents%20and%20Settings/user2/Local%20Settings/Temporary%20Internet%20Files/Content.IE5/ODEFO5I7/Jennifer%20Logo.html> ITBrainiac Inc. www.itbrainiac.com <file:///C:/Documents%20and%20Settings/user2/Local%20Settings/Temporary%20Internet%20Files/Content.IE5/ODEFO5I7/Jennifer%20Logo.html> -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "oraapps" group.
