Position : Cloud /Video architect Location : Skokie,IL - Remote Duration : 1 year *MUST HAVE:* *1) Design and architecture within virtual platforms* *2) Programming in C/C++* *3) Real-time video application experience* *4) Migration of video applications from Physical to Virtual servers * *Skills and Experience Required:* - Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Network Engineering or related field with an emphasis in server applications. Masters Degree is preferred. - Minimum 10 years of overall job-related experience. - Minimum 4 years industry experience deploying software for a Virtual Machine environment such as VMWare vSphere, MS HyperV, or Xen. - Minimum 4 years industry experience writing C/C++ for real-time server multimedia applications. - Minimum 4 years industry experience developing real-time media streaming applications using some or all of SIP, SDP, H.323, RTP, RTCP, RTSP, AVB. - Experience with Linux software development, especially kernel audio and networking. - Experience with software development tools such as Integrated Development Environments, compilers/linkers, and debugging tools (emulator, profiler, etc.) required. - Solid understanding of software development processes and tools, such as requirements management, UML modeling, version control, and Agile processes. - Experience working with IEEE, IETF, ITU, AES, or other standards body committees is a plus. - Experience with professional audio/video applications is a plus - Demonstrate technical and interpersonal leadership.
