PRIMARY OBJECTIVE - Assist with process improvement, operational planning,
competitive analysis/best practice and organizational performance
monitoring and improvement within and among all business unit areas of a
major health insurance company.  Support Organizational Performance and
Business Process Improvement activities to ensure that the client and all
of its subsystems (departments, processes, policies, teams, employees,
etc.) are optimally working together to achieve desired results.DUTIES AND
RESPONSIBILITIES:1.   Performance Measurement:  Assist with the development

4 Business Process Improvement:  Assist and/or lead the re-engineering of
existing business processes to improve internal efficiency and business
relationships.  Work with IT and project teams to identify and support
operational and technology projects.  Use the results of organizational
analyses to make process design and development recommendations.5. Project
Support:   Participate and lead the gathering and documenting of
functional, non-functional and user requirements to support projects and
initiatives.  Work with business, IT and Testing Center of Excellence to
ensure requirements support design, build and testing activities.6. Perform
other job-related duties as assigned.Experience1. A minimum of Two (2) –
Four (4) years of practical experience in using and applying process
improvement best practices and technologies/methodologies in a structured

Job Description:
• Ability to work independently on various accounting processes including
but not limited to variance analysis, internal management reporting,
external reporting for pre-defined regulatory requirements, month-end
closing activities and balance sheet reconciliations
• Prepare and maintain updated standard operating procedures
• Communicate and follow up with other departments on variance
observations, input requirements etc.

Skillset Required:
• CPA or Master’s Degree (CPA preferred)

• Strong knowledge of GAAP
