*Seeking a Senior Security Engineer that will mainly be responsible for
infrastructure design and supporting all Enterprise Security Infrastructure
Systems including, but not limited to, Firewalls, IDP/IPS, DNS and DLP
environments at one of our largest clients! Additional duties include:
documentation, training, technical strategic planning, and project
management.*
*Job Description:Provide Security Architecture Design for new environments
Responsible for evaluating User administration and Root privileges on all
Security Unix hostsDocumentation of procedures for achieving required
security levels associated with platform hardening, application code,
and/or other acceptable security architecture standardsAnalyze current
security systems and present recommendations for changes to increase
reliability, functions, and servicesReview and stays current on
Commonwealth Policies and Standards related to Security and environment
designManage, plan, and/or oversee the installation and/or maintenance of
Enterprise Security Systems Responsible for Operating and Application
System Security for production and test environments*
*Maintain security firewallsCapable in managing, planning and directing the
following: Installation and/or maintenance of all related security system
softwareProblem detection and resolution of security system
softwarePreparation of security reports to management on security systems
activities and performanceSecurity-related project groups to ensure
completion of projectsSecurity-related hardware and/or software component
integrationResearch, testing, and evaluation of potential new security
systems and softwareIdentify and successfully troubleshoot security-related
problemsIsolate/resolve issues regarding configuration and
connectivityImprove security performance on an ongoing basis Evaluate
and/or recommend hardware and software security-related
purchasesParticipate in Disaster Recovery efforts, including travel to test
affected computer systems.*
