SQL Server 2012/2008 R2 The Department is seeking: A .Net Developer who will have the primary responsibilities for developing and maintaining reports to support permits, licensing, laboratory testing and results. Other primary responsibilities will include working closely with the system end users to ensure customer driven information retrieval (via creation of reports). The specific duties of the .Net Developer position include: 1. Development of SQL Queries (complex joins, stored procedures, transactions), XML (Schemas, consumption and translations) in C# 2. Troubleshoot problems related to existing reports making data available to system users 3. Evaluate technical data processing information needs and end user needs for reporting purposes. B. Specifications: Duties and Responsibilities Create the following Reports: 1. Write a parser for existing Inspection Forms (created in Word 2013) and then create violation reports using SSRS (approximately 5 forms/reports) i. Estimated time to complete task: 40 hours 2. Create enforcement letters (approximately 5) using SSRS i. Estimated time to complete task: 40 hours 3. Create a Milk Ratings Report using SSRS (one report). i. Estimated time to complete task: 30 hours 4. Create an Inspection Assignment report using SSRS (one report) i. Estimated time to complete task: 16 hours 5. Create an Inspection violation report using SRS (one report) i. Estimated time to complete task: 8 hours 6. Create a “last two routine” inspections report using SSRS (one report) i. Estimated time to complete task: 8 hours 7. Create a Synchronization Report using SSRS (one report) i. Estimated time to complete task: 8 hours 8. Create a Staff Productivity Report using SSRS (one report) i. Estimated time to complete task: 8 hours 9. Create numerous ad hoc Reports on that are to-be-determined by users in the Environmental Health Bureau (hours might change depending on the complexity of the reports ) i.
